There are many great klezmer bands out there. One of them is The Other Europeans Band, an orchestra devoted to combining klezmer and lautari (Roma) music from Moldova. The band was formed in 2008 and toured with much success through Europe and North America. In 2011 they were invited to play at the WOMEX Festival in Copenhagen, where they presented their new live album, which should be available from their website soon.
When records are released, reviews appear at various places such as websites and newspapers. But as time moves on, new album reviews replace the older ones. This is a pitty because some records really deserve it to stay in the window of a shop, so to speak, a little longer, so that as many people as possible can learn about their existence.
